How to Fix Video Playing Error
Sometimes we insert a DVD into our computer driver for playing or mean to watch YouTube videos downloaded from its official site for a little entertainment, but video may unable to be played with error showed pictures or weird sounds for you to hear. This situation happens without a sign and we can not make sure what causes it,, much less to fix how to fix these video playing errors.
We used to deal with it by changing video player, making new graphics card be installed on computer to replace the old one. These are most being used ways and i will introduce here too. However we would like to explore new method to deal with it such as using a data recovery software. You must have a million questions about why. Because as far as we can imagine, this kind of software would only do data recovery, help people restore data, tell them how to recover data by describing some details in using the software. Anyhow surprisingly, it can used to fix video/music playing error by treating those video/music files as a damaged portion. But last but not least, we all can understand it only applies to video/music files damages' cases while other methods will be needed if playing errors are because of other reasons
Most common used methods
1. Has sound but no pictures
Probable reasons: Current video player does not have a proper decoder or damaged decoder files
Problem solutions: Install the relevant formats' decoders.
2. Pictures are OK but no sound
Reasons: 1. AC3 plug-in is not installed or has damaged already. 2. No support for this video format for your video player.
Methods: 1. Find the AC3 plug-in and install it. 2. Download other video player.
3. Video s can not be smoothly played
Reasons: 1. Version problem of decoder. 2. Graphics driver has version problem.
Problem solutions: 1. Change the decoder to a decoder of same type, but different version. 2. Replace it with a newer version of graphics driver.
4. Pictures are dime so the video content can not be seen clearly
Reasons: 1. Decoder program problem. 2. Try Windows Media Player to play RM/RMVB videos by installing a corresponding decoder. 3. Video player setting or version problems.
Problem solutions: 1.Change the decoder to a decoder of same type, but different version. 2. Try RealPlayer but this is not with good compatibility which is only applying to normal circumstances. 3. Modify video player setting or change its version.
5. Sound sounds weird
Possible reasons: Version problem of decoder.
Problem solutions: 1. Change the decoder to a decoder of same type, but different version. 2. Change the AC3 plug-in version. 3. Change AC3 plug-in settings.
6. Video player note error
Possible reasons: 1. Video files download errors. 2. Source file itself error. 3. Decoder does not support the current operating system. 4. Temporary problems of system. 5. Video files can not be recognized by video player, the connectings are failed. Note error at the same time.
Problem solutions:1. Redownload the video files. 2. Replace the decoder with a new one. 3. Close video player then restart it or directly restart computer. 4. Special file formats like.MKV,.OGM can not be open- solving it by trying a new decoder, or changing them with.AVI file formats then open.
Brand New Methods
As mentioned above, if you are certain that the video playing error is caused by video file damages. You can take advantages of data recovery software to get data back then place the recovered videos in video player to play. Experiences and practices show that most similar situations can be solved and the videos can be played at last.
