Adobe Photoshop CS 6 BETA can be Downloaded for Free

Adobe Photoshop is the name that comes into my mind when I’m thinking about “image editing”. It’s not the kind of software that everyone uses for two reasons: it’s complicated and very expensive. That doesn’t mean light versions or demos are not used by people throughout the world who are passionate about imaging.

Photographers, art designers, web developers are using Adobe Photoshop and are waiting for the latest version. That’s why it comes as a surprise that Adobe launched Photoshop CS 6 beta as a Free download (link here, it’s around 1GB). This means Adobe is getting ready for the official launch, a moment when I suspect the Beta version will cease to exist (or even cease working).

Let’s see what the new Photoshop Creative Suite 6 Beta has to offer, according to Adobe:

Content-Aware Patch – this is probably the biggest enhancement, a set of tools that take into consideration what lies on the canvas and perform things like move, copy, clone, smudge, etc without breaking the backgroundBlazingly fast performance and a modern UI - since Photoshop 5 there wasn’t really an improvement in User Interface, but CS6 promises to change with a rearranged toolbar and dark skinning option. The Mercury Graphics Engine is responsible for top notch performance (if you have a beefier computer, of course)New and re-engineered design tools – more changes in the tools you use and better management when you have multiple layers and stylesAdobe Photoshop CS6 Beta is Free to Download Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta is Free to Download

If I haven’t convinced you already take a look at this 10 minutes long video with the capabilities of the new Photoshop CS 6:
